How does a bonus affect withdrawals?
Almost every welcome bonus comes with a wagering requirement: the bonus money, and often the winnings tied to it, cannot be withdrawn until you have wagered the required amount. Until the requirement is met, a withdrawal is either blocked or cancels the bonus and the bonus winnings.
From a fast-withdrawal point of view a bonus is always a compromise: a bigger bonus usually means a bigger wagering requirement and a longer road to your money. If speed is the priority, consider declining the bonus.
Sample wagering calculation
Example: 100% bonus up to 200 €, wagering requirement 35× the bonus.
- You deposit 100 € → you get 100 € in bonus.
- Wagering needed: 100 € × 35 = 3 500 € in bets.
- You can't withdraw bonus winnings before wagering 3 500 €.
- If the requirement applies to deposit + bonus (200 € × 35), you already need 7 000 € in bets.
Always check whether the requirement applies only to the bonus or to the deposit as well — the difference is twofold.
Rules that stop a withdrawal
- Maximum bet — often around 5 € when playing with a bonus. Exceeding it can cancel the bonus and the winnings.
- Game weighting — slots usually count 100%, table games 10–20% or not at all.
- Maximum win from a bonus — especially with no-deposit bonuses, often a cap of 100–500 €.
- Payment method restriction — some bonuses don't apply to deposits made with certain methods.
- Time limit — an unwagered bonus expires together with its winnings, usually within 7–30 days.
Wagering requirement in euros — what the multiplier really means
| Bonus | 20× requirement | 30× requirement | 40× requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| 25 € | 500 € | 750 € | 1 000 € |
| 50 € | 1 000 € | 1 500 € | 2 000 € |
| 100 € | 2 000 € | 3 000 € | 4 000 € |
| 250 € | 5 000 € | 7 500 € | 10 000 € |
| 500 € | 10 000 € | 15 000 € | 20 000 € |
The table shows the total amount of bets you must place before you can withdraw winnings tied to the bonus. If the casino calculates the requirement on the bonus and the deposit, multiply the amount by two. That's why, in terms of withdrawal speed, a 0× wagering requirement is always better than a big bonus.
Sticky or non-sticky bonus?
With a non-sticky bonus you play with your own money first, and the bonus activates only once your own money has been played through. If you win before the bonus activates, you can withdraw the winnings and forfeit the bonus — from a fast-withdrawal point of view this is clearly the better structure.
A sticky bonus ties your money and the bonus money together right away: withdrawing before wagering cancels all bonus winnings.
How to forfeit a bonus and get your money?
- Check in your account how much is real money and how much is bonus money.
- If you are halfway through wagering, decide: either play it through or forfeit the bonus.
- When you cancel the bonus you lose the bonus money and bonus winnings, but the balance of your own deposit becomes available for withdrawal.
- Cancel the bonus via support or in your account settings before the withdrawal request — that way you avoid the request being rejected.
Checklist before taking a bonus
- How big is the wagering requirement, and does it also apply to the deposit?
- How long is the deadline to meet it?
- What is the maximum bet when playing with the bonus?
- Do your favourite games count fully towards wagering?
- Is the bonus sticky or non-sticky?
- Can you forfeit the bonus at any time?

If a bonus is the reason your withdrawal drags on, it pays to read the offer before accepting it. Bonuses broken down term by term are kept in freespin.ee's bonus overview, and those of bank-link casinos are collected separately at Pangakasiinod.ee.
Frequently asked questions
Yes, if the wagering requirement is met, or the bonus is non-sticky and you haven't reached the bonus money yet. Otherwise you have to choose: play the requirement through or give up the bonus winnings.
Most often the wagering requirement hasn't been met, or you exceeded the maximum bet while playing with the bonus. Check the bonus status in your account and ask support for the exact reason.
Usually only after wagering, and a low maximum win cap (e.g. 100 €) often applies. A deposit is also frequently required before a withdrawal.
When you cancel the bonus you lose the bonus money and bonus winnings, but the unused part of your own deposit becomes available for withdrawal. The exact logic differs from casino to casino — read the terms.
