An international bank account number used for bank transfers and to route withdrawals to the correct account.
IBAN (International Bank Account Number) is an international bank account number that uniquely identifies a specific account at a specific bank. An Estonian IBAN starts with the letters EE followed by 18 digits.
In a casino context, the IBAN matters mainly for withdrawals: a bank-transfer payout is routed to the correct account by its IBAN. With Trustly payments you usually don't have to enter the IBAN manually — it is read automatically from your online bank.
Always check that the IBAN used for a withdrawal is in your own name. Licensed casinos generally pay winnings back to the same account the deposit came from, which reduces the risk of error and fraud.
An IBAN consists of a country code, two check digits and a country-specific account number. The check digits let the system catch most typing errors, so a payment with a faulty IBAN is usually rejected before any money moves. Spaces are not part of the number: IBANs are shown in groups of four for readability, but they do not matter when you enter one.
For a withdrawal, check three things: the IBAN is in your own name, the account is a euro account, and the account the deposit came from is still open. If you changed banks or closed the account, the casino will usually ask for proof, such as a statement showing your name and IBAN, and that is part of verification. For the general rules on SEPA euro transfers, see ECB: SEPA.
