A casino’s added value to the player — bonus money, free spins or another perk, always with terms attached.
A bonus is a casino offer that gives the player extra value: bonus money, free spins, cashback or other perks. Every bonus comes with terms that determine its real value.
The most important terms are the wagering requirement, maximum withdrawal, validity period and the selection of eligible games. They're always worth reading before activating a bonus.
A bonus's face value and its real value are two different things. Example: a 100% match up to €100, a €100 deposit, and a 35× wagering requirement on the bonus amount only. Your balance shows €200, but to withdraw you must wager 35 × €100 = €3,500. On a game with 96% RTP the theoretical loss on that turnover is €3,500 × 4% = €140, which is more than the €100 bonus itself. That does not make every bonus bad; it means a bonus is worth taking only when the terms are lenient and you would have played anyway. The same requirement applied to deposit plus bonus would mean 35 × €200 = €7,000 of turnover.
Bonus types also differ in which money is used first and what happens to the bonus when you withdraw; the terms sticky bonus and non-sticky bonus explain this in more detail.
A frequent mistake is activating a bonus without reading the terms and discovering at withdrawal that the bonus wagering is still unfinished. At some casinos, withdrawing before the requirement is met means losing the bonus and the winnings made with it. Another mistake is raising the deposit just to reach the cap. A third is playing at any cost so the bonus does not expire: expiry is a cost, not an obligation to play. If you notice you are playing more than you intended because a bonus is in progress, stop and ask for help at Peaasi.ee. Example: a 100% welcome bonus up to €200 means that to a €200 deposit the casino adds €200 in bonus money — €400 of playing funds in total, subject to a wagering requirement.
The bonus is activated on registration, deposit or by entering a bonus code.
The bonus is subject to a wagering requirement, a validity period and often a maximum bet limit.
The bonus must be played through the required number of times before winnings can be withdrawn.
Once the terms are met, the bonus win becomes real money that can be withdrawn.
Not always. A high wagering requirement or a low maximum withdrawal can make a bonus's real value small. Read the terms before accepting.
Yes. At most casinos you can leave a bonus unactivated or cancel it later if you prefer to play without terms.
