A repeat deposit bonus for existing players, often at a smaller percentage than the welcome bonus.
A reload bonus is an offer for already-registered players in return for a new deposit. It keeps play interesting after the welcome bonus has been used up.
Reload bonuses usually have a smaller match and a lower cap than a welcome bonus, but come around more often — a weekly “reload”, for example.
Suppose a reload bonus is 50% up to €100. A €40 deposit gives €20 of bonus. To reach the cap you need €100 ÷ 0.5 = €200 of deposit. If you deposit €300 you still get only €100, not €150, and the effective match is €100 ÷ €300, about 33%. A bigger deposit does not raise the bonus above the cap, but it does raise your risk and your wagering turnover. So there is no point raising a deposit because of the bonus.
If the requirement is, say, 30× on the bonus only, a €100 bonus means 30 × €100 = €3,000 of turnover. Check each offer's requirement separately, because frequent promotions can differ from the welcome bonus.
A reload bonus needs a new deposit and wagering. Cashback returns part of a loss and often has a lower or no wagering requirement, but pays nothing if you do not lose. To compare them, see the cashback term and the guide what is a cashback bonus. Some crypto casinos offer rakeback instead of a reload, returning a share of the amount wagered.
Recurring offers can turn depositing into a habitual expectation. Decide the deposit size beforehand and do not change it because of a promotion. If depositing starts to mean chasing offers, ask for help at the Gambling Addiction Counselling Centre.

Example: “Friday reload 50% up to €50” gives a regular customer half on top of a Friday deposit, up to €50.
Reload bonuses often appear on set days or during campaigns.
If needed, enter a bonus code or switch the offer on in the cashier.
The bonus is calculated as a percentage of the new deposit.
A reload bonus carries its own wagering requirement and validity period.
A welcome bonus is a one-off offer for new players, whereas a reload bonus is a recurring offer for existing customers, usually with a smaller match.
It depends on the casino — some have a fixed weekly reload, others only during campaigns.
